-Not Accepting General Family Medicine Care
-By referral from other physicians and/or
organizations/agencies who work with transgender
individuals (ex. Skipping Stone)
I am a member of WPATH and have done multiple trainings through their Global Education Institute, and I have also done trainings via Rainbow Health Ontario and Trans Care BC/UBC CPD. I was also a member of the working group that developed the Alberta Towards Optimized Practice (TOP) guidelines on “Transgender Health in Primary Care” in 2019. I am also the parent of a transgender teen.
